Autumn Term
Christmas Card Competition
We began the Autumn Term by partnering with the Stocksfield Village Store on their Christmas card competition. We welcomed our school to submit a design for a Christmas card front cover. After receiving lots of amazing entries, we chose our favourite design and this was made into a card that was sold across the Christmas period in the Village Store. Our amazing winner received £25, and 50% of profits from the sales was donated to a charity of our choice. Huge congratulations to our winner: Lucy W from Year 2!
Book Sale
In November, we had a week long book sale to support our librarian in raising money for new books and equipment for our school library. It was a huge success and we raised £126.63 in total! Thanks to all of you who supported us with this.
Christmas Movie Night
Our school council members decided to hold a movie night to raise further funds for our school library this year. Movie nights are always popular and prove a huge success in raising money. We decided to watch the Nativity! in the final week of school, and we raised £180 in total from this. We hope you enjoyed attending!
