Timings of our school Day...
Our school day begins at 8.45am and finishes at 3,15pm.
We start our day with an 'open drop off' system where children have 10 minutes to arrive into school. They do not line up in the yard, instead they say goodbye to their grown ups before coming straight into class to start morning challenges whilst listening to relaxing music.
We find this allows the children to transition smoothly into school on a morning, and have an informal start to their day and they are calm and ready to learn in their first lesson.
Our total hours of school each week (excluding any clubs or extras) is 32.5 hours.
Lots of our pupils stay after school for extra curricular activities including Dance, karate, tennis and art club.
